Last updated: October 20, 2026

ResidenceCraft (“we”, “us”) operates residencecraft.com from Montréal, Québec, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights, in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada’s PIPEDA.

Person responsible for personal information

Our Privacy Officer is responsible for protecting your personal information. Contact: residencecraft.com@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Order information: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number and the products you order.
  • Payment information: processed directly by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, contact form or live chat.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Why we use it

  • To process, ship and track your order, and to provide customer support.
  • To send order confirmations and, if you start checkout without finishing, a reminder email about your cart.
  • To send marketing emails only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with service providers that help us run the store: our order-fulfillment partners and suppliers (including suppliers located outside Canada, such as in China, who ship your order directly to you), payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), our web host (Hostinger), shipping carriers, and analytics providers (Google). Some of these providers store information outside Québec and Canada. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies needed for the cart and checkout to work, plus analytics cookies to measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the cart may not work without essential cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as required by tax and accounting laws (generally 6 years), and other information only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw your consent, or file a complaint, by writing to residencecraft.com@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and trusted payment processors. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.
